Butterscotch Marshmallow Brownies


I have been making these brownies ever since I was a little girl. They are super easy to make, and come out gooey and delicious.


  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large, microwave safe bowl, heat butterscotch chips and butter for 20 second intervals until they are melted together, stir until smooth.
  3. Stir in the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, vanilla and eggs until well mixed. Add in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips.
  4. In a greased 9 x 13 pan, spread the mixture evenly.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven.
